Rakija has always belonged in a room full of people. At Mary’s, the setting changed, but the feeling did not. The bottle moved from the family table into the middle of the city, surrounded by music, conversation and people staying longer than they planned. It was a different kind of gathering, built around the same spirit of hospitality and celebration. Every batch represents months of fruit, production, patience and decisions made along the way. When it finally reaches the bottle, we believe that work should be celebrated. Not with a formal presentation, but with glasses passed across the bar, free-flowing cocktails, cake and a crowded dance floor.
By the end of the night, Mary’s felt less like a venue and more like an extension of our family table. The setting was different, but DNA remained the same: rakija poured generously, stories shared freely and a celebration that refused to stay quiet. That is what a batch party is for. To mark the work, welcome the next chapter and give a new batch its first proper story.
