You've met our Classic Rakija, now meet its slightly richer, slightly better-looking cousin Gold Rakija. Like our classic variety, DNA's Gold Rakija is made from organically grown Australian Shiraz grapes and double-distilled in small batches.

Tasting Notes

Taste: Rich and full on the palate, with layers of warm honey, dried fruit, and a subtle herbal bitterness that keeps it interesting. Sweeter and more complex than the Classic.

Body & Colour: Deep amber-gold. Medium-bodied, with a weight and warmth that sits beautifully on the tongue.

Aroma: Floral and inviting with wet stone minerality and ripe fruit. Rewards patience.

Finish: Long and sweet with lingering herbal and fruit notes. The San Francisco World Spirits judges called it simply "wonderful." We agree, but Dedo said it first.

What Dedo wants you to know: Dedo’s secret recipe and he’s not telling. Bridges the gap for whisky drinkers who haven’t met rakija yet.

Already on my 3rd bottle, love it

The Gold Rakija was a real surprise. I’m usually a whisky drinker, but this has the same warmth and richness while still tasting completely unique.

Really impressed with DNA’s Gold Rakija. Rich and smooth, with lovely flavours and a finish that lingers. It’s something a little different that still feels familiar if you enjoy whisky. A bottle I’d happily bring to dinner or give as a gift. Definitely one I’d buy again.
